The Vision and Purpose of EFC falls under five categories of which we
have five fundamental scriptures. We strive to follow the pattern of
the Church described in the New Testament and believe it is important
to keep “the mission” of what we do pure and simple. We believe in
the “ripple affect”. We are striving to make an impact locally, then
regionally, nationally, and finally internationally.

John 4:23
“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will
worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking
such to worship Him.”
The most important function of our church is to provide a place of worship for believers of Christ where they can honor God and His Son corporately. We will worship with passion (spirit) and honesty (truth). Our ongoing vision is to provide a house of worship relevant and comfortable for any person whether they are charismatic or conservative.
James 5:16
…the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Jesus said, “My house shall be called a ‘house of prayer’.” (Matthew 21:13)
Our Church will open its doors to anyone who wants prayer. We believe prayer
must be bold, continual, and done with faith to receive whatever you ask for.
Our ongoing vision is to provide an “around the clock” prayer chain that will
lift up the needs of others when called upon, no matter the time and to train
Ephesians 4:11-12
And He gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers,
for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry…
We believe in the saints (people of the church) doing the work of the ministry.
Therefore our vision is to empower the gifting of the five-fold ministry to
equip each saint and prepare them for the ministry God would lead them into.
Our purpose is to provoke every believer to serving in the Church in the
passion of their gifts and calling.
Matthew 9:36
But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because
they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.
Reaching out to the world requires compassion, and we have compassion for
sinners. We believe it is the responsibility of the Church to reach out and
gather the lost for Jesus. Our ongoing vision is to reach out to the
“unchurched” and build a bridge of relevance to them so that they might find
salvation through Jesus Christ.
John 13:35
“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one
another.”
Many Christians seem to lack true love for people, even other Christians,
but we take seriously the value of meaningful relationships. Spending valuable
time with other believers “naturally” disciples a Christian. Our ongoing vision
is to provide a family atmosphere in our church that we might “provoke” one
another to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24). We believe the best example to
the world and one another is to love each other. We will be considerate and
prefer one another to walk in the bonds of love together.
